Beautiful color, not so heavy that you can't lift it, and it does an amazing job. Braised some lamb shanks and they came out beautifully. I noticed that no steam escaped from between the lid and pan, judging from the results of the lamb, that is a good thing. I was amazed at how easy it was to clean as well. The only thing I'm wondering about is the knob, as it has a temperature range, and I may want to try baking bread in it in a hot oven. I did notice that it is possible to buy a metal knob, which I may do. All in all, a great pan at a great price. Thanks Amazon!5 of 8 ... Oval
