I looked at different brands of stainless cookware before purchasing my LeCreuset and here are some of the features the others don't have that sold me on the LeCreuset. The pans nest evenly inside one another. The design of the handle allows the lid to fit into the handle. These pans are heavy - the extra handle is a big bonus when you have a full heavy pan to lift or move. I love the stainless lids that come with this cookware. The steamer insert (purchased separately) fits THREE different sizes of pans, comes with it's own glass lid, too.
